To be added.

What is a Tea Dance?

A tea dance is a ballroom dance that features Gene Trimble's Combo playing Big Band music of the 40s & 50s.  The event begins at 6 p.m. and costs $10 per person.  The dance includes free popcorn served from 6 to 6:45 p.m., followed by a buffet of 16 feet of refreshments.  The refreshments (included in the admission price) always consist of variations of two kinds of sandwiches, chips, relish trays, cheeses, summer sausage, fruit, and a huge assortment of homemade desserts.  No tea is served!  Appropriate attire is semi-formal/formal wear.  Reservations are not required unless large parties want to reserve tables so members of a group can all sit together.  Call 253-2535 (museum) or 253-4620 evenings (Lynnita's home) for further details or questions.
