Calendar of Events - 2010

January 2010

  • The museum changes exhibits.

February 2010

  • World War II exhibit is being prepared.
  • February 13 - Valentine's Tea Dance featuring Gene Trimble's Combo, 6-9 p.m.  $10 per person.  No smoking.  No alcohol.  Meal served.
  • February 20 - Bellows & Buttons .

March 2010

  • March 1 - Tentative opening date for the museum's new exhibit, "Where Were You During World War II?"
  • March 20 - Tea Dance featuring Gene Trimble's Combo, 6-9 p.m.  $10 per person.  Includes buffet.   No smoking.  No alcohol.

April 2010

  • April 10 - The Chorale from Champaign County.  Dinner at 5:30 p.m.  Musical program begins at 7 p.m.  $16.00 per person by reservation only.
  • April 17 - Tea Dance featuring Gene Trimble's Combo, 6-9 p.m.  $10 per person.  Includes buffet.  No smoking.  No alcohol.

May 2010

  • May 29 - Tea Dance featuring Gene Trimble's Combo, 6-9 p.m.  $10 per person.  Includes buffet.  No smoking.  No alcohol.
  • May 31 - Memorial Day Open House, World War II exhibit.  Dinner that evening at 6 p.m.  By reservation only.  $12 per person.  $2.00 discount for veterans (a museum staff thank you to veterans for protecting our freedom).

June 2010

  • June 19 - Tea Dance featuring Gene Trimble's Combo, 6-9 p.m.  $10 per person.  Includes buffet.  No smoking.  No alcohol.

July 2010

  • July 17 - Tea Dance featuring Gene Trimble's Combo, 6-9 p.m.  $10 per person.  Includes buffet.  No smoking.  No alcohol.
  • July 24 - Annual Seip Reunion.  Noon.  Museum caters.

August 2010

September 2010

  • September 3, 4,5 - Museum's annual Gigantic Garage Sale!!!  8 a.m.-4 p.m. on Friday.  Bag sale on Saturday 8 a.m.-2 p.m.
  • September 11 - Tea Dance featuring Gene Trimble's Combo, 6-9 p.m.  $10.00 per person.  Includes buffet.  No smoking.  No alcohol.
  • September 18 - Annual Paul Reunion.  Noon.  Museum caters.

October 2010

  • October 2 - Tuscola High School Alumni Luncheon, 12:30 p.m.  Museum caters.
  • October 9 -  Tea Dance featuring Gene Trimble's Combo, 6-9 p.m.  $10 per person.  Includes buffet.  No smoking.  No alcohol.

November 2010

  • November 11 - Veterans Day Open House, 9 a.m.-4 p.m.  Salute to all veterans evening dinner begins at 5:30 p.m.  $14 per person.  $2.00 discount for every veteran (a museum staff thank you to veterans for protecting our freedom)!
  • November 20 - Annual Soup 'n' Sandwich Supper, 4:30 p.m.-7:00 p.m.  $6.00 per person.  Children under six years old eat free.

December 2010

  • December 4 - Breakfast with Santa, 8 a.m.-11:00 a.m.  Free doughnuts, juice, milk, free gift, and visit with Santa Claus for children.  Adults make a donation.  Open to everyone who believes!  Music by John Lindblom.
  • December 11 - Holiday Tea Dance featuring Gene Trimble's Combo, 6-9 p.m.  $10 per person.  Buffet included.  No smoking.  No alcohol.
  • December 28 - Last Look Luncheon.  Enjoy a noon plate lunch while taking a last look at the museum's World War II exhibit.  11 a.m.-1 p.m.  Advance reservations only.  $6.00 per person.

  • "Farm Exhibit" - February 15 - May 15, 2011
  • "Everything Animation" - August 1 - December 31, 2012
